Click the Fells Winners
A big thank you to all who took part in our Click the Fells competition.
It is rewarding to see that the enthusiam that all at Fix the Fells have for the stunning landscape of the Lake District is clearly shared by everyone who submitted their own highlights of the area.
We selected one winner and three runners up. We thought you'd like to see the winning images and the judges comments. Our congratulations to those who were sucessful and thanks to all those who took part.
WINNING IMAGE: 'Early morning light on the Buttermere Pines' by Keith Knight

Judges comment: "Simply way better than any photo I've taken at this point - shows a familiar - and very
accessible - landmark in glorious lighting and would encourage anyone to visit."
RUNNER UP: 'Hopegill Head' by Andy Beck

Judges comment: "Captures everything about why we go on the fells. The scale of the walker in the foreground
and the paths leading you through the shot. Wonderful."
RUNNER UP: 'Catbells' by Craig Allum

Judges comment: "Good use of a low viewpoint in September highlighting the colours of the heather in
late Summer. Great depth and great colour."
RUNNER UP: 'Sun rays on green valley' by Rod Ireland

Judges comment: "This shows captivating lighting and another well known view from an incredible height.
Timing on photographs such as this is everything, and the way the sunbeams light up the valley floor highlighting it from the dark surroundings makes it a worthy choice."
