Charity begins at home

Many local businesses help Fix the Fells by fundraising with their customers or donating some of their profits.  Two businesses supporting path fixers are Heart of the Lakes and Langdale Leisure.

Heart of the Lakes

Supporters of footpath repair projects since 1998. The Lake District's premier self catering holidays agency wholeheartedly believes in the ongoing importance of valuable conservation work. Read more in the Heart of the Lakes website (opens in new window).

Lake District Guiding

Lake District Guiding, offer guided walks, mountain biking and navigation training in the Lake District National Park. They are donating £1 or 1% of every booking received to Fix the Fells. Check out Lake District Guiding website (opens in new window)

Langdale Leisure

A leisure company with Hotel and Country Club, lodges and apartments plus a traditional country pub. They were the first to offer guests the opportunity to raise funds for footpath restoration. Find out more at Langdale Leisure website (opens in new window).

Pogu

Pogu Spikes are the lightweight pocket sized ice crampons ideal for walking and running on ice and snow. Pogu are donating 1% of profits to Fix the Fells.

Tubular Fells

West Coast Guiding

West Coast Guiding offer guided walking, scrambling, wild camping, trail and fell running in the Lake District and beyond. They are kindly donating 2.5% of any walk booked to Fix the Fells.
