Volunteering is a great way of getting out on the fells and help look after paths for everyone's enjoyment. You can take part in practical maintenance tasks, monitor upland path repair work and help visitors enjoy and understand what makes the Lake District National Park so special.
Long-term volunteers are involved in Lengthsman tasks and leading Fix the Fells-themed events run by the National Park. There are also short-term opportunities through group volunteering and on working holidays with the National Trust.
