Fix the Fells is kindly supported by a large number of businesses, including hotels, B&Bs, visitor attractions, adventure activity providers, outdoor clothing shops, pubs, cafes, and many more. All of these organisations are proud to care for the Lake District’s stunning mountains – and recognise their responsibility towards the landscape which draws customers to the area. Our corporate sponsorship scheme is run by our partner the Lake District Foundation, a registered charity that undertakes fundraising activities on behalf of Fix the Fells. Read on for more details about our corporate sponsorship scheme. We are looking forward to inviting you on-board.

Why should my business sign up?

Our business supporters report the following benefits, to name but a few:

Chia Charge are makers of sport nutrition, supercharged with Chia seeds. They give 1% of turnover to good causes including Fix the Fells. Recently they came out with our volunteers and produced this short video

What does my business have to do?

We ask all of our business supporters to actively contribute to Fix the Fells. There is no minimum contribution – your support, no matter how big or small, is vital.

How can my business contribute to Fix the Fells?

There are five main ways that your business can contribute to Fix the Fells, as follows:

Donation boxes – encouraging your customers to donate small change
e.g. Cotswold Outdoors has collection boxes at the tills of 4 of its stores in Cumbria
Employee/team fundraising
e.g staff at Lakelovers are walking all the Wainwrights as a sponsored challenge
Visitor Giving
e.g. Elder Grove B&B invites customers to add a £1 donation per room at booking
Sponsored products
e.g. inov-8 are selling a limited edition t-shirt, with a % of the price donated to Fix the Fells
Corporate donations – a donation from your company’s profits
e.g. Heart of the Lakes makes a sizeable donation to Fix the Fells every year
